Warsaw Ecoligue II: prizes awarded!

The day before end of school year Warsaw pupils met in the headquarters of the Warsaw Centre for Educational and Social Innovation to discover results of the competition "Warsaw Ecoleague II. Hazardous waste - let's reduce the danger!". More than a hundred of pupils from primary and secondary schools took part in the competition in four age categories.
The authors emphasized in their works that hazardous waste should be taken to a CAS (PSZOK in Warsaw) or mobile CAS (MPSZOK). One of the schools showed how to deal with the hazardous waste as an example of good practice. Pupils also came up with some ideas about the most effective ways to reduce the volume of hazardous waste. The excellent quality of many of the entries allows for the optimism when looking into the future, as was also emphasized by the Director of the Warsaw Centre for Educational and Social Innovation, Ms. Karolina Malczyk, who chaired the event.
